The DigiAdvance Accelerator Workshop is a collaborative initiative by the DigiAdvance project, DCU Studio, DCU Business School, and the Irish Institute of Digital Business. The workshop is designed to bring together industry professionals and academic experts for a dynamic session of talks, discussions, demonstrations, debates, and panels.
This workshop is focused on empowering business leaders to effectively leverage digital technologies, provides valuable networking and mentoring opportunities for SME leaders, and hopes to foster innovation and informed decision-making through knowledge sharing.
The DigiAdvance project aims to address digital skills gaps in the SME sector through the provision of low-cost, demand-driven, tailored training in key digital technologies for SME owners, managers and employees.
Micro-credentials are short, industry-engaged, accredited qualifications for anyone who is looking to gain new skills and competences in a fast and flexible way. DCU has pioneered micro-credentials both nationally and internationally. The MicroCreds project, led by the IUA in partnership with 7 Irish universities, including DCU, aims to address the barriers to participation in lifelong learning through micro-credentials. This project is funded by the Higher Education Authority under Human Capital Initiative Pillar 3, Innovation and Agility.
